Prior to launching Blue Spoon, John held executive management and creative leadership positions for nearly 15 years at Omnicom Group and Interpublic Group marketing networks, managing brand teams that served the top pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology corporations in the world, including Pfizer, Merck, Schering-Plough, Johnson & Johnson, Genentech, and Bristol-Myers Squibb, among many others. His writing and ideas on strategic innovation have been published by MIT Sloan Management Review, Business Strategy Series, the American Marketing Association, Advertising Age, and the CMO Council. He is also a successful restaurateur and active surfer.
